Eternal city - Rome! It's one of those places in the world that you "must see" in your lifetime.
On arrival, Rome welcomed me with a breeze of warm, fresh air - so contrasting to cold and windy London at that time. I believe that the spring is the best time to travel through south Europe anyway - not too hot not too cold, just right to enjoy the weather :)
While attending one of the best wedding photography conference "Way Up North", featuring world-leading wedding photographers I also found the time to do the engagement session in Rome.
I had a pleasure to meet Emanuela and Marco while visiting Italy and straight away fallen in love with both of them. They are two beautiful, amazing human beings, madly and deeply in love, happy to show it to the world.
Our photo session took place in Tiberina Island. It is the only island in the Tiber river which runs through Rome. Comparing to other, mostly crowded, tourists spots, in Tiberina we found a quite and relaxing atmosphere great for the intimate session. We also were lucky with a beautiful, "Monet" alike, sunset sky which made a great backdrop for many photographs.
Emanuel and Marco weren't shy to show each other's affection, and in my opinion, it's something that comes naturally for Italians :) I couldn't keep them apart, as they both flock to each other at all the time.
Thank you guys for being so amazing! I feel like I'm not only got great photographs from the session but also met wonderful people who became my real friends. Can't wait to meet you again in the future xxx
If you are planning your wedding in Rome or somewhere else in Italy, then I more than happy to assists you as your Rome wedding photographer.

Meet Ben and Kirsty and their beautiful, intimate wedding day in London. We absolutely fall in love with them, as they are a really fun and laid back couple. It was a joy from start to finish with plenty of English-Scottish accents and with everyone in such cheerful spirits.
This big day started in the early morning in quirky and extravagance Town Hall Hotel when talented makeup artist Charlie Baker, did Bride's make-up and hair.
After morning preparations, everyone headed over to Clissold House, a brilliant London wedding venue with amazing interior and lovely grounds around.
After the ceremony all the guests got on the old, classic Red Bus and made their way to the reception venue. And the venue…The Russet ...was just incredible, with wooden decor, greenery and art on the walls such a lovely place with the great atmosphere and tasty food.
For a portrait session we've used the Shoreditch industrial landscapes, covered with graffiti, as a background. In the nearby Hackney Downs park hill we had a chance to capture some great moments between Ben and Kirsty.
Guys, congratulations and thank you for choosing Jay Kowalik Photography to be your London Wedding Photographer.
Lisa and Wyell is a wonderfully warm couple and photographing their wedding was a great pleasure. Their search for the best London wedding photographer culminated into appointing us as their Dulwich Picture Gallery wedding photographers.
We developed a very good rapport the moment we met, and we wanted to go that extra mile to make their memories special and unique.
Finally, the day of the wedding dawned. Lisa decided to get ready at home itself. She chose to wear an elegant, lacy creation that enhanced her looks. The whole household exuded an atmosphere of happiness and joy. A flurry of activity, glances of fondness and love, nervousness and various other emotions were running high in her parents household. As Lisa descended the stairs, her dad stood at the doorway, wondering how his little girl had grown! It was a really touching moment.
Everything in Lisa and Wyell’s wedding was perfectly plan. The choice of the venue - Dulwich Picture Gallery has unique qualities, a subtle beauty and a feeling of permanence.
The beautiful service at the Christ’s Chapel was very emotional and would hold loving memories for the couple, their families and guests in times to come.
The wedding group then proceeded to the Dulwich Picture Gallery for the reception.
It was there, in this intimidating premises that we could capture the love and bonding of the newly married couple. The paintings in the background were a witness to the loving cuddles, kisses and giggles shared by the couple. Outside, the striking brick walls created the perfect backdrop for the pictures and rendered a rustic appeal to them.
It was not difficult to capture the happiness and joyousness as all the guest were really having a good time. As the sun set, the venue took on a whole new look. The horse carriage converted into a bar with soft lights around, the lighted up gallery and the impressive skyline added up to the beauty.
The gallery witnessed speeches and toasts before the dance and party could begin. Soon after the couple finished with the first dance of the day, they were joined by the guests and the party was on a roll.
Lisa and Wyell - thank you for choosing us to be your alternative wedding photographers in London.
